Longa-Batt Battery Terminal Protector is an organic,
non-flammable, non-hazardous liquid that when applied on battery terminals and clamps
forms a hard coating to protect them against corrosion. Battery terminals (posts) tend to
corrode rapidly. Corrosion contributes to poor electrical contact between cables and
terminals and keeps current sent by the vehicle generator from recharging the battery
correctly. This creates additional resistance and increases temperature resulting in
irreversible battery damage.
LongaBatt Terminal Protector is not a varnish and is easily removable with water.
