Longa-Batt Pad is a grooved rubber pad made of a secret formula compound. The compound absorbs vibration, and the simple groove design re-directs most of the vibrations horizontally before they reach the battery. This a very effective, yet simple system that keeps brittle plates in a battery from deteriorating because of permanent vibration and rattling. The elimination of vibration plays a key factor on a battery when used in conjunction with Longa-Batt (chemical). Just one of Longa-Batt features is keeping battery plates from becoming brittle. The positive effect of the Longa-Batt Pad is that it eliminates any possible mechanical battery failure due to rough driving conditions (not due to defective manufacturing).
