The 28th of January this year I was offered by Oyvind Heimsgaard to test PROBAT in one of my own car batteries. Selected was a 60 amperes VARTA battery from 1986. Cheap batteries (+-300/ - Nkr) last for 2-3 years while a quality battery, the type for the test, "last" 6-8 years. I express discretely that "last" means its ability to hold its power. The battery that was tested has been totally discharged several times, but it has always had a little power, enough to start a car right after being charged. In my opinion this is a "damaged" battery. The battery was filled up with PROBAT and thereafter charged. After charged it was installed in my car and the starter pulled willingly the engine to start. Unbelievable, the battery was again powerful. It had regained the "kick" and in following days it continued to improve. My car is an older type Volvo, with a large stereo system and I use lights and the electric heater very actively, there is also a lot of short drives, something that is not in favor of the charge and the battery. Especially in a cold and humid coastal climate, but it works continuously. My opinion is that PROBAT absolutely functions to clean and rejuvenate a bad battery. I am not a green freak, but man need to look at this as environmental points to delay replacement of batteries, believable with several years. A car battery with its content like lead is an environmental threat. PROBAT is really a wonder product. My name is Greg Woolverton and I just want to mention that I have tried ProTec's Longa-Batt (ProBat) Battery life Extender with great results, even though I didn't follow the recommended procedures. I have a 24-volt, 3600 lbs. bank of 36/2 volt flooded lead acid batteries wired in parallel configuration. I had purchased these deep cycle storage batteries for a Hybrid/ Photovoltaic Solar System from a solar distributor. I wasn't given full support in regards to information regarding recommended equalization and charge parameters. They had been undercharged for a period of 2 years and consequently, as I learned about battery maintenance, the batteries suffered. I knew somehow that these batteries weren't performing as they should have and therefore wanted to protect them. I
found on the Internet an ad for Longa-Batt sulphation remover. I thought why
not. After talking with Robert at ProTec International I was convinced that this
product would work. I was assured by Robert that Longa-Batt is a "Unique
formulation" that would really help to remove the deadly buildup of hard
sulphate crystals from my battery plates and restore, to normal or above normal,
the electrolytic operation of my batteries. Well I ended up buying, or at least
paying for 2-1/2US.Gallons of the product. I only needed 2-1/2 gallons for the
size of bank I intended to dose But Robert at ProTec sent me 5 gallons to try.
He said I could pay for my 2-1/2 gallons with the extra product he had provided.
This was how sure of the product he was. After receiving the 5 gallon container
I immediately drove home and excitedly started to dose my bank with the
recommended amount of Longa-Batt. In my excitement I unfortunately didn't follow

Quite often we get complaints about low life of battery used on cars (1~2 years
).On researching on the net about this problem, I ran across your ProBat product
and your method to recondition used batteries . I see a huge prospect for this
business in India if it can demonstrate whatever is claimed. Customers are hard
nosed and like to see substantial improvement in life of battery. Nobody is
interested to shell out any money for 5~10 percent increase. So if the product
is really as good as it is claimed on the web, I would be interested to

We started reconditioning 60 old batteries that had been dumped in the corner of our yard and probably abused. We had very little expectations to get good results as in the manual it is advised to recondition freshly discarded batteries, but we wanted to see ourselves to which extent Probat and Procharge would be effective. We have checked all of them with your autotest electrics analyzer and found that 45% were very sulphated but still in working conditions the rest had short cells. We were expecting to get only 20% back to life, but to our amazement we have been able to revive 40% with good capacity (between 75 and 90%). This encouraged us to set a shop and now we are following the method and your advice. Last month so far we have reconditioned more than 600 batteries and our business is doing quite well. "I have been involved for over 6 months with both New Battery Product and the Reconditioning of batteries with one of Battery Doctors dealerships in Melbourne. After some initial hiccups with the learning of the best practices for the reconditioning of batteries, I have found the product ProBat (Longa-Batt) to be nothing short of the single most important tool in the process. There are people in the market place claiming to recondition batteries. To a point their claims are true. However without the product ProBat they have no cure for what initially caused the premature death of the battery. Flushing, adding new eclectrolyte and recharging only temporarily removes the problem of sulphation. This is why these companies only offer warranties of no more than three months. It has been my experience, that with the addition of ProBat to a mechanically sound battery that not only is the sulphation removed, it also does not return. Allowing the batteries to not only accept a full charge but also hold it. Making them once again a viable power source for all sorts of applications. This can allow Battery Doctors dealers to give a warranty better than some of the new battery warranties currently in the market place. I have also applied ProBat to many batteries in heavy industry and farming applications where there have been problems with the battery holding charge only to find that the battery was still mechanically sound and that after Longa-Batt was added that the battery returned to as new and is still running. I have also used it in Classic Cars where the car spends long periods of time in a garage without being started. Without applied the starting of these type of cars was a problem due to sulphation of the battery. After the adding of applied the sulphation problem disappeared. In conclusion I would like to say that once you become fully conversant with the internal workings of the battery and once you have been trained in the correct application of the ProBat product, you will not only find it is everything it is written to be, it is more. In my car, I have a very expensive stereo system that drains a lot of power and particularly causes a lot of damage to the battery. My batteries don't last as long as they should. I have volt/amp meters in the car and each time I start the car the needle on the meter slowly goes up to the correct voltage. Then when I turn the stereo on, the meter drops to way below the normal voltage. Also I get a lot of build up of the white sulphation on the battery terminals which I have to keep cleaning off. About 2 months ago, my girlfriend's father gave me some ProBat to put in the battery and also some ProBat Terminal Protector. I'm one of the biggest skeptics around but I thought "oh well, it's free, I'll do it to please him". About a week after treating the battery with the ProBat, I realised that the voltmeter was reaching the correct voltage immediately after turning the car on, then after turning on the stereo, the voltmeter hardly moved. I had not done anything to the car, the electrical system or the battery except for treating it with ProBat. I can only say that the battery is keeping its charge, there has not been any sulphation on the terminals and that ProBat is doing what it claims to do. Trial two: Mechanically sound battery with low starting power, treated each cell
as per recommended dose (eg: 16 ml per cell) charged for 24 hours. Noticed
battery temperature was decreased by 85%. Allowed to stand for 3 hours, as a
warm battery will give inaccurate readings. Battery had recovered 98% of
